Community Resource Guide

Often it can be difficult to know who to call when you need help.

We publish a Community Resource Guide every other year with updated phone numbers to connect you with services you may need. Sure, the guide has phone numbers for social service agencies, but it also includes youth sports, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, preschools and even numbers for the utilities. Most sections are broken down by municipality so you can find the help you need in your local area.

None of the listings have paid to have their information included in our booklet. We even have translated the guide into Spanish to help those in our community for whom English is a second language.

This booklet is a tremendous resource for newcomers to our community as well as life-long residents. Last year, we distributed more than 500 copies across the five municipalities that make up the Lower Dauphin School District.

We’re always looking for ideas on things to add to the listings and the guide has grown significantly since we started publishing it in 2004.

For more information, please contact Angela Durantine, Program Director, at 717-350-0428 or [email protected].

“Whether you are a life-long resident or a newcomer, we hope you find our Community Resource Guide helpful and informative.”
